The yacht club has boats available for members to check-out and use when the lifeguards are on duty.

Boats available for check-out are Fevas, Lasers and Snipes.

Teras are not available for check-out without the permission of the sailing instructors.

To check-out a club boat:

You must be a member of Bow Mar Yacht Club

Must be 16 years old 

Sailors under 16 years old may check out a boat if they have their Advanced Solo Rating, and are accompanied by someone 16 years old or older.

BMYC members may check-out a boat on behalf of a guest. 

The yacht club member must be present and on the boat with the guest, or accompany them on the water on a separate boat.

See the lifeguards to the check-out a boat. You will need to give them your name and the name of any guests. They will give you a key. Boats must be left clean and undamaged, with the cover completely put back on the boat, and the lock put back on and locked.

Everyone on a boat must be wearing a Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times.
